Climate Zero Partner Program

Powering People. Reducing Carbon. Delivering Measurable Impact.

The Climate Zero Partner Program is a collaboration between WiSolar and enrolled Climate Zero Partners designed to accelerate the transition to clean energy while delivering tangible, measurable carbon-reduction benefits to Climate Zero Partner employees and their families.

The programme aligns with KPMG’s global net-zero commitments, sustainability leadership objectives, and broader agenda for responsible corporate citizenship.

🌍 What Is the Climate Zero Partner Program?

The Climate Zero Partner Program enables KPMG staff to access clean, reliable electricity through WiSolar’s Solar-as-a-Service platform, while actively reducing household carbon emissions — without owning, financing, or maintaining energy infrastructure.

It transforms everyday energy consumption into measurable climate action.

Clean Energy as a Service — No Ownership Required

Under this programme:

• KPMG staff do not purchase solar systems

• There are no monthly subscriptions

• Energy is billed strictly per kilowatt-hour (kWh) consumed

WiSolar installs, operates, and maintains the energy infrastructure, allowing employees to benefit from professionally managed, reliable clean power.

🔌 Intelligent Energy Mix with Carbon-Reduction Priority

Electricity supplied under the Climate Zero Partner Program may be drawn from:

• Solar energy generated by WiSolar

• Battery-stored clean energy

• Grid electricity, used only when required

WiSolar’s platform automatically prioritises lower-carbon solar energy, ensuring maximum emissions reduction while maintaining service reliability.

🧾 Single Energy Wallet, Unified Experience

As part of the Climate Zero Partner Program, all electricity consumption is settled through a single WiSolar energy wallet, delivering a seamless, transparent, and consumption-based energy experience.

How it works

1. Participants fund a dedicated WiSolar energy wallet

2. Electricity is delivered continuously without interruption

3. Charges are applied strictly per kilowatt-hour (kWh) consumed

4. Lower-carbon solar energy is prioritised and billed at a lower rate, with grid electricity used only when necessary

5. Energy usage, costs, and savings are visible in real time

This model ensures clarity, control, and predictability, while reinforcing the programme’s objectives of cost efficiency, emissions reduction, and responsible energy use.

🛡️ Program Governance & Reliability

Under the Climate Zero Partner Program, WiSolar retains full operational responsibility for system uptime, infrastructure maintenance, data integrity, and end-to-end service delivery.

All services are delivered under clearly defined service-level commitments, ensuring participants benefit from a seamless, reliable, and professionally managed energy experience without operational or technical burden.

This governance framework provides assurance to both KPMG and participating staff that energy delivery is accountable, continuously monitored, and resilient.

💰 Cost Competitiveness & Price Stability

Electricity supplied through the Climate Zero Partner Program is priced competitively against prevailing grid tariffs, while offering greater long-term price stability.

By prioritising solar and battery-stored energy, participants benefit from:

• Reduced exposure to fuel price volatility

• Lower sensitivity to grid tariff increases

• Predictable, consumption-based energy costs

This structure delivers both financial resilience and climate benefits, reinforcing the programme’s value as a sustainable employee energy solution.

📊 Carbon Impact Visibility (Key Differentiator)

Participants gain visibility into their personal and collective climate impact, including:

• kWh of clean energy consumed

• Estimated CO₂ emissions avoided

• Reduction in generator fuel usage

• Contribution to broader sustainability goals

Illustrative monthly example:

Metric Impact
Solar energy used: 95 kWh
Grid energy used: 20 kWh
CO₂ emissions avoided: ~65 kg
Generator runtime avoided: Significant

💼 Why This Matters to KPMG
